I am really starting to wonder what the hell's happening in this country. I thought the craziness during the last election was just business-as-usual, but I had grown up and was more participatory than before, and therefore it seemed different. I thought Obama's election and the transference of power from one party to the other went relatively smoothly. Then the whole financial crisis struck and the surrealism of governmental actions, news reports relating to those actions and the reactions of "America" or "concerned Americans" (as reported via the same media outlets) to all of this, right up to the current healthcare reform hysteria, is making me feel a little crazy myself! I'm to the point where I'm almost convinced we're all nuts (and by "we" I mean, all of you!)!!

Rise of Violent Militias? (Sure, it's Gawker, but still...)
Um...REALLY?!?! A gun? Worn to a townhall meeting strapped to your thigh? Not a threat? Oh OK!...Then what is it?

If any one needs me, I'll be actively avoiding any thought of the peril that may await me and my loved ones in a Fascist (or anything remotely close...i.e. - what we live in now) America by partying it up irresponsibly. Seems the most logical thing to do at a time like this...
