- Pony dishes it out while Corey TuT plays with your levels at HUGS & HEIFERS - the only country you'll need...this week.
- Mr. Cambeiro wants your wiener. Head to Sweet Revenge for THE WIENER ROAST. Maybe bring your estranged ex...though I think it's more about fun than about either of the r words.

- Mr. Furlong's passion these days...well one of the bigger...THE BUNKER books a full bill of great DJs at Public Assembly every Friday. Catch them this Friday to warm up for B.E.M.P. (See below).

- Literally down my block...B.E.M.P. - Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival goes all day Saturday (August 8th) and boasts an amazing (and extensive) line-up of DJs (The Juan Maclean!).
- Don't stay too long tho, cuz it's time - once again - to visit the groovy PLANET ZiZMOR with your intergalactic companions Alon, Idan and crew (including me!). Saturday, August 8th.
- For the next three Saturdays, Park Avenue and connecting streets from Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park will be closed to motorists and turned over to cyclists, runners, skaters/rollerbladers and pedestrians for SUMMER STREETS. Bike-sharing is part of it! Check the website for details.
ONGOING...
- A power-duo of exhibits at Paul Kasmin Gallery runs July 9th - Sept. 18th. NAKED in the front and HUNG...sorry...SIZE MATTERS in the back give you plenty to peruse.

Prodigal Son (ok, ok...I'm being dramatic) Paul Vitale is living upstate for the summer and is using his time to raise money for medical research on Alzheimer's Disease. He's going to walk the Memory Walk and run the Rochester Half-Marathon and has created a Donation Page to make it easy to donate to the cause. Visit and help him meet his fundraising goal.
